World Kidney Day is a campaign that take place every year and its main goal is to raise awareness of the importance of the kidneys to our health. 2022 is declared as the year of “Kidney Health for All” and the STRATEGY-CKD Outreach Committee organized a campaign in order to fill in the knowledge gap regarding some key important aspects of the kidney functions, but also to disseminate the project’s aims and objectives to the lay public. Through a series of quizzes posted to the project’s social media channels, the students asked several crucial questions to promote knowledge about diverse kidney topics. The project’s PIs and students gave detailed explanations for these subjects focusing on informing the viewers with a simple and understandable way how important and vital healthy kidneys are for our overall wellbeing.
